In this project, we created a patio setting for Franco, a restaurant and café located in Barrio Escalante.
For Franco, we wanted to integrate the outdoor space of the patio to the rest of the restaurant, make it seem like it was always there (it was added months after the place opened). To provide continuity to the building’s original architecture, we kept the color palette and added details like white gravel and accents of red that match the brick floor. The furniture was designed to be adaptable to the outdoors, with resistant materials like teak wood and plastic thread fabric.
